November was filled with outdoor fun, hands-on learning, and unforgettable memories for our pack. From camping under the stars to launching rockets into the sky, our Scouts experienced the excitement of discovery, teamwork, and adventure that makes Scouting so special.
Fall Family Campout at Bovay Ranch
Our fall family campout brought Scouts and their families together for a weekend of outdoor exploration and bonding. One of the highlights was the opportunity for Scouts to work toward their fishing adventure, learning patience, technique, and respect for nature as they cast their lines.
As the sun set, the campfire became the center of laughter and creativity. Scouts practiced and performed campfire skits, building confidence, teamwork, and public speaking skills in a fun and supportive environment. The evening wrapped up with a relaxing outdoor movie theater experience, where families gathered under the night sky to unwind together after a full day of adventure.
Rocket Day with Big Cypress District
Later in the month, Scouts participated in an exciting Rocket Day hosted in collaboration with Big Cypress District. Each Scout had the chance to build and decorate their own rocket, expressing creativity while learning basic STEM concepts like aerodynamics and propulsion.
The big moment came when rockets were launched one by one, soaring into the sky to cheers from fellow Scouts and families. This event combined science, teamwork, and excitement, leaving everyone inspired and eager for the next hands-on adventure.
A Month to Remember
November showcased the best of Scouting—outdoor learning, creativity, skill-building, and community. We are proud of our Scouts for embracing new experiences, supporting one another, and making each event meaningful and fun. With memories like these, it’s clear this Scouting year is off to an incredible start.
