Fire Station Field Trip 🚒
February kicked off with an exciting outing to the local fire station, where Scouts got an up-close look at fire trucks, equipment, and daily firefighter life. They asked great questions, learned important fire safety tips, and even got to explore the inside of a real engine. Experiences like this bring learning to life and help Scouts connect community helpers with real-world skills.
Blue & Gold Banquet — Mario Style 🍄
Our annual Blue & Gold Banquet was a huge success and this year’s Mario theme made it extra memorable. From colorful decorations to themed games and treats, it felt like stepping straight into the Mushroom Kingdom. Families gathered to celebrate achievements, share laughs, and enjoy a night of fellowship that truly captured the spirit of Scouting.
Cake Decorating Contest 🎂
One of the most anticipated traditions lived up to the hype — the cake decorating contest. Scouts and families brought incredible Mario-inspired creations, from power-up cupcakes to character cakes. The crowd favorite? A giant Piranha Plant cake that earned the most votes and plenty of “wows.” The creativity and teamwork on display were as impressive as the desserts themselves.
Arrow of Light Crossover Ceremony 🏹
A highlight of the evening was celebrating four Arrow of Light Scouts as they crossed over into Troop 282. This meaningful ceremony marks the next step in their Scouting journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of their growth, leadership, and dedication. Watching them take this step reminds us how quickly these young Scouts grow into confident leaders.
Congratulations to All Scouts 🌟
We also want to recognize every Scout who earned advancements this month. Your hard work, persistence, and positive attitudes are what make this pack so special. Each badge represents effort, learning, and growth — and we are proud of every one of you.
February showed us what Scouting is all about: learning, laughter, community, and milestones worth celebrating. We can’t wait to see what adventures March brings!
